Suspect In Sparks Murder Arrested In California

SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - A suspect in the 2004 shooting death of a
man in Sparks, Nev., has been arrested in California.

Sparks police say 26-year-old German Rios was arrested without incident Thursday at a Lodi, Calif., construction site by U.S. marshals.

Rios was a Sparks resident when he was accused of fatally shooting Juan Antonio Martinez during an argument. The victim was found on Greenbrae Drive.

Sparks police detectives have notified Martinez's family of the arrest, and are in California interviewing Rios.

Rios is being held without bail in the San Joaquin County Jail pending extradition hearings to return him to Nevada.
