New Steve Fossett Rumors Surface
Reno, NV In the next part of the prolonged saga of famed aviator Steve Fossett, who vanished last September, rumors are now flying as to what could have happened to him and the possibility that he may in fact still be alive.

C'mon he is dead. His widow didn't want to pay for the search because she shouldn't have been asked to pay. They don't ask Joe Anybody to pay for searches when their loved ones go missing. Just because she is wealthy doesn't mean she should be expected to pay when others are not expected. How about charging all those Texas being rescued from the Hurricane a fee to be rescued when they were told to get out...I bet not!
well where is the supposed mistress? I Think that Steve Fossett had an engine problem and ditched in a lake. He will be found someday.

Skies are not easy to see people in so he could still be alive.
When this story first came out, I called it that it was a fake disappearance. Too many questionable details from the very beginning. Not filing a flight plan, leaving low on fuel. An experienced pilot is not going to take off anywhere without a full tank. He had it all planned from the beginning to avoid a messy divorce. He probably sunk his plane somewhere in the ocean on his way to another country. Maybe even with his girlfriend.
I think that steve fosset is not alive.
I sorry but at one point didn't they say that there were hundreds of planes that have gone down over Nevada never to be found. If that is true, and they have only found 6 planes with there massive search, it's not that unreasonable that they have not found him.
A red flag went up when this multi-millionaire's wife could not repay Nevada the $300,000 for his search, as reported. She seemed to want him declared dead almost immediately, as opposed the the 7 year wait imposed on everyone else. Who knows?

I had a hunch when Fossett disappeared that it was bogus. I hope when he appears alive and on screen one of these days the authorities throw the book at him
