RENO, Nev. (AP) - The Nevada Army National Guard says a helicopter was damaged when it clipped a tree near Hobart Reservoir in the mountains west of Carson City.

The Black Hawk was on a training mission when the mishap occurred Thursday.

Four soldiers were aboard. No one was injured. The pilot landed the aircraft safely in an area at an elevation of 7,700 feet despite damage to the rotor.

Guard officials will inspect the helicopter to determine if it is flyable or needs to be sling-loaded out of the rugged area for repairs.

The Army is investigating the cause of the accident.
