RENO, Nev. (AP) - Flash flood watches are in effect for all of northern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe region.
The National Weather Service says daytime heating Monday combined with moisture from the southwest could create thunderstorms and possibly heavy rainfall.
Flash flood watches across the region are in effect from about midday through this evening.
Forecasters say the humid weather will be around through Tuesday, before a dry pattern takes over and temperatures climb back into the mid to upper 90s.
