Reno Police Arrest 8 In Recent Auto Thefts

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police say eight people suspected in a recent rash of auto thefts have been arrested.

Authorities say thieves targeted mid 1990 models of Saturn and Toyota vehicles.

Officers say 12 stolen vehicles were recovered following a three-week investigation.

Those arrested are 25-year-old Kyle Gabelman, 37-year-old Guillermo Bonar, 54-year-old Rick Marthis, 20-year-old MalloryMartensen, 28-year-old Brian Vollmer, 28-year-old Kellie Taitt, 21-year-old Nichole Rodrigues, and 33-year-old Avina Alfonso.

Police say they face charges of possession of a stolen vehicle.
