RENO, Nev. (AP) - Starbucks Corp. says it will close 18 stores in Nevada. Locally, the Starbucks on 50 N. Sierra St will close.
The Seattle-based coffee company on Friday identified all 600 stores nationwide that it plans to close in a bid to boost its business and weed out unprofitable locations.
Closures in Nevada include one each in Reno and Henderson, three
in North Las Vegas and 13 in Las Vegas.
The company has seen traffic and its profits decline recently as the faltering economy has led some consumers to question their spending on pricey coffee.
