Nearly 12 hours after a police standoff began...and Sparks officers are left with more questions.
The situation began Friday when SWAT team members entered a home on F Street.
Sparks police were first called to the home for a domestic dispute.
When they arrived... they found a woman outside, who appeared to have been beaten.
When officers approached her boyfriend, 28-year-old Michael Russell... he barricaded himself inside his home.
The woman says Russell told her that he'd shoot any officer who tried to get him and then he'd shoot himself.
11 and half hours later when they entered the home... Russell was no where to be found.
Sparks Police are still looking for him. If you have any information to help, you're asked to contact them.
