Gardnerville Man Dies in Auto Wreck

GARDNERVILLE, Nev. (AP) - The Douglas County sheriff's office says a Gardnerville man was killed when he slammed his car into a parked truck on a residential street.

David Bower Love II, 24, died in the accident that happened early Tuesday in the Gardnerville Ranchos.

Investigators said a deputy saw Love's car speeding in a 25 mph zone just before the crash.

According to the sheriff's office, Love lost control of his 2003 Dodge sedan and struck a parked GM flatbed work truck.

No one else was injured.
