HAWTHORNE, NV - Power has now been restored to 2,300 NV Energy customers who were without power for several hours.
An official with NV Energy says power was restored as of 10:40 a.m.
The outage began at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at a substation located at the Fort Churchill power plant, according to the official.
The official says customers who live in Hawthorne, Gabbs, Mina and Luning were affected by the outage.
