RENO, Nev. (AP) - Regional transportation planners have selected three possible routes for a new link road from southeast Reno to Sparks.
Each route for the southeast connector road is within a 1,500-foot-wide corridor extending from the base of Geiger Grade, through the Rosewood Lake area and ending at Sparks Boulevard.
The Regional Transportation Commission is expected to choose a final route later this year.
Officials say the options will be evaluated on distance from homes and flood control considerations.
Once a route is finalized, officials say it will be at least five years before construction begins.
