Congratulations Nevada. Many in N.C. were told that no "old guard" shenanigans would be pulled in NC back in June......not N.C...we aren't like the other states. Well, the elites pulled the same crap in NC and denied us our rightful number of Ron Paul delegates. We were just "too" damned nice and allowed the steam roller to squash our efforts. Congrats to Nevada for standing up to what is only "RIGHT". With liberty and justice for all!!!
The NV GOP tried their heavy-handedness once to often. Sue Lowden has done this before, check out what happened to Russo when she was the convention chair. It would not have been difficult for the "leadership" to do the right thing by the delegates and the voters by being present and serving the entire party. Party leaders and delegates who did not attend are, imo, derelict in their duty as elected delegates to the now complete NV State GOP Convention. Thank you Terhune Family, Mike Weber and all the other organizers who had the gumption and spirit to lead.
Unfortunately, the National Convention will reject your delegates and allow the party approved delegates that will be selected in July.
KOLO reports there will be a reconvening July 26th. Party leadership sent a mailing to demand an additional $35.00 by July 7th. If there is no quorum evidenced by number of delegate $35.00 receipts, their Convention will NOT be held. Party leaders hypocritically complain of expenses due their negligence to justify additional charge. These complaints after turning down not one, but two dates to convene at no cost? Back-room delegate appointees remain the goal of Party leadership. Leadership continues to campaign for an illegal mail-in ballot. It is promoted while identities of nominees are secretly held and chosen by Party Officials. Bob Beers is no longer Chairman of the Nevada State Republican Convention. The Convention was held June 28th, convention business concluded, and an adjournment occurred. Bob Beers did not present himself in obligation to Nevada citizens therefore, he was replaced. The people overcame his Gavel. WHERE WAS SUE?.... At the.... BB QUE.
I would recommend having the Ron Paul delegates show up for the July convention as well. It will be a win/win as they will have a the majority at that convention as well. Keep democracy with a small "d" moving forward. Remove the elitists from their appointed positions.
As a native to Nevada I commend you all for taking the lead in America's new push for democracy. The voice of the people will be heard!
Keep it up my fellow Nevada patriots! With McCain not having a chance in November, the GOP will regret not taking in Paul supporters. The revolution must continue....get all the delegates you can muster!
Awesome job. Paul supporters are just getting warmed up. I cant wait to see how this plays out.
Congratulations to the real republicans in Nevada. We had a fair convention, we elected delegates. Anyone who wanted to participate could nominate themselves. The CD delegates have been elected, as well as the 22 at large. The convention was officially adjourned. All of you who stayed home missed the boat. Thank you, Mike Weber!!!!!!!!!!!!!
