Authorities are on the look out for a mountain lion suspected of killing sheep on the north edge of Fallon near the Carson River.
The latest attack was reported a short time before Christmas.
State wildlife officials say it was determined to be that of a
mountain lion based on physical evidence at the scene.

The family initially suspected dogs were behind all of the
attacks until a mountain lion was sighted.
Most of the attacks have occurred between midnight and four
o'clock in the morning.
If a mountain lion is spotted or suspected, residents should
contact the Churchill County Sheriff's Department at 423-3116.
