Friends of Reed High School student, Veronica Verso and her sister, 14-year old Dilworth Middle School student Olivia Nordhoff could no longer contain the grief that began Wednesday morning and only got worse with Friday afternoon's announcement that Verso did not survive her injuries from the blaze.
But, it wasn't all tears at the candle light vigil.

Alexandria Berry, a friend of Veronica's, laughed inbetween tears with two of her friends.
"She never worried about herself, if she saw us crying like this she would kick our butts. She'd be like, don't be sad for me, go out. Be happy and just remember me."

Shortly after the vigil began, members of the Sparks Fire Department joined the crowd who welcomed them with cheers, hugs and plenty of tears among everyone.
An account has been set up at to help off-set medical and other expenses for the family... you can donate at any Bank of America to the Verso Relief Fund.
