An A-T-V stolen from the parking lot of a Reno sporting goods store was supposed to be the grand prize in a raffle to raise money for a children's charity.
The 2006 Arctic Cat Quad and trailer is valued at
12-thousand-dollars. It was stolen sometime yesterday (Tuesday)
from the parking lot of the Mark, Fore and Strike Sporting Goods.
A spokesman for Model Dairy, the company organizing the raffle,
says the A-T-V was going to be the grand prize in the fund-raiser
benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation.
The foundation grants wishes for children suffering life
threatening illnesses.
The theft is under investigation.
