Reno police say a woman who survived an accident and then was struck by a car a mile away has died.
Police say the woman was lying in the road when she was struck
early yesterday at South McCarran Boulevard and Mira Loma Drive.
Three vehicles swerved to avoid hitting her, but a fourth car was
unable to change lanes in time.
Sometime before the accident, police say the woman crashed her
car about a mile away, and the car caught on fire.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
