A $2,500 dollar reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a half dozen suspects in a fatal stabbing on the southeast side of Reno over the weekend.
Antonio Gonzalez-Juarez, 25, was found dead at 1 a.m. Saturday
about a quarter-mile away from the scene of a knife fight that
injured three others at 3445 Neil Road, Reno police said.
Investigators originally thought Gonzalez-Juarez was involved in
the fight. But now they believe he had driven to the address after
the fight had occurred and encountered the group that had beaten
and stabbed the other victims.
Police said as he passed near Riley Avenue, his truck was pelted
with rocks. He stopped, got out, was beaten and murdered.
The six suspects were described as two black men, three Hispanic
men and a white man.
Anyone with information is asked to telephone Reno detectives at
334-2115 or Secret Witness at 322-4900.
