HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) - Two Las Vegas-area public school teachers are free from jail pending court appearances on felony charges they had sex with a 16-year-old girl in the Henderson home they shared.

Henderson police say 32-year-old Bambi Dewey posted a $20,000 bond early Tuesday and 31-year-old John Stalmach posted a $60,000 bond.

Henderson police allege the couple had sex with a Basic High School student at their home between November and January.

Stalmach is also accused of having sex with the girl without Dewey.

Dewey teaches at Brown Junior High School in Henderson.

Stalmach teaches at Dailey Elementary School in Las Vegas.

Each face charges of soliciting a minor for sex, and Stalmach faces a charge of sexual conduct between a teacher and a student.

Attempts to reach the two were unsuccessful.
