Nevada Softball Coach Gardner Leaving For Indiana

Nevada softball coach Michelle Gardner is leaving the Wolf Pack to become the coach at Indiana University in the Big Ten

Gardner was the 2008 Western Athletic Conference coach of the year. She led Nevada to two NCAA appearances and posted a school-best record of 44-and-18 this past season.

A native of Petersburg, Michigan, she starred at at the University of Michigan as a pitcher and was named the Big Ten player of the year her senior season in 1988.

She says she's excited about the opportunityt to return to the Big Ten.
