VIRGINIA CITY (AP) - For the first time in nearly 30 years, the northern Nevada town of Virginia City will have a practicing physician.
Dr. Quinn Pauly, who has had a practice in south Reno for the last six years, says he will branch out by opening a second practice in a portion of the Comstock Community Church.
The 42-year-old family physician says he would start out by working from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays in Virginia City, about 20 miles southeast of Reno.
Storey County Emergency Management Director Joe Curtis says the last doctor to practice in Virginia City left in the late 1970s.
