RENO, Nev. (AP) - The National Weather Service says northern Nevada could be in for severe thunderstorms over the next few days.
The agency issued a hazardous weather outlook, advising of potentially strong to severe thunderstorms in northern Nevada and
northeastern California on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Forecasters say an upper level storm system will move into the region and combine with warmer temperatures to increase the chance of thunderstorms.
The weather service says strong winds, hail and locally heavy rainfall are possible.
Thunderstorm activity should diminish later in the week, the weather service said.
