CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - Backers of a petition to cap Nevada property taxes missed a deadline for filing signatures in Clark County by 20 minutes, according to the secretary of state's office.
And when the supporters of the plan, a Nevada version of California's Proposition 13, returned a day later to file, some of the documents weren't original signatures as required by law.
The plan has been pushed by Sharron Angle, an anti-tax conservative who failed in 2004 and 2006 to get enough signatures for similar tax-cap plans.
The petitioners were required to file a total of 58,628 signatures with local election officials around the state by Tuesday. But the organizer with the Clark County signatures arrived at that county's election department at 5:20 p.m., after doors were closed and staffers had gone home.

Sounds like Ms. Angle doesn't know how to count our the time/date.
