15,700 customers in Sparks, Spanish Springs, and Sun Valley lost power for about an hour Thursday afternoon. The power failure originated at a Spanish Springs sub-station at 2:30pm.
Sierra Pacific utilized alternate circuits to restore power while they replaced the failed parts at the sub-station.
