Location: Manzanita Bowl
The American Indian Powwow will be held May 3-4, 2008 at Manzanita
Bowl. The event is the largest outreach intiative for the University
bringing in more than 1,200 attendees. The event also brings the
American Indian culure and heritage to the campus by providing food,
craft, and informational vendors. There will also be traditional drum
songs and dancing in traditional native costumes. Admission is free to
The event runs until 10:00 p.m. Sunday night. The Manzanita Bowl is
the park immediately south of Manzanita Lake just off of Virginia
Street at the south end of the school campus.
