Magnitude 4.4 Earthquake Hits Near Wells
At about 1:40 Tuesday afternoon, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck 11 miles northeast of Wells in Eastern Nevada.

WELLS, NV - At about 1:40 Tuesday afternoon, a magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck 11 miles northeast of Wells in Eastern Nevada.
The USGS is reporting that 23 micro earthquakes in the last week have lead up to Tuesday’s event.
Employees at the City Hall described the quake as a “rolling motion” lasting “8 to 10 seconds”. So far, there have been no reports of injuries or damages.
You will remember, on the morning of Feb 21st the city of Wells suffered a magnitude 6.0 earthquake. The city and surrounding area have since gone through continuous micro earthquake activity.
