Nevada Senator Harry Reid has recovered enough to make his first public appearance since suffering a brief mini-stroke. Reid canceled several appearances in Reno and Lake Tahoe after experiencing dizziness last Tuesday.
Details about the incident weren't released until Friday. His aids say doctors in Las Vegas determined Reid suffered a "transient ischemic attack,” otherwise known as a TIA. Tomorrow, Reid will take part in a symposium in Las Vegas. He plans to resume a full schedule when Congress reconvenes on September 6.
