Firefighters extinguished a brush fire near Kiley Ranch and the Lazy 5 Regional Park Saturday. The fire broke out around 4 p.m., and grew to 10 to 15 acres.
KOLO's Grand Sierra Resort Camera showed a large column of smoke.
Twenty-six firefighters responded to the scene. The fire burned a garbage pile, but did not threaten any homes. No one was injured.
Crews planned to remain on the scene to look for hot spots.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
