RENO, NV-- A 17-year-old is in a hospital recovering from injuries sustained in an early-morning shooting.
According to the Reno Police Department, officers were called to Austin Crest Apartments, 1295 Grand Summit Drive, shortly after 12:30 Sunday morning, on the report of a suspicious person.
Less than 30 minutes later, police, Reno Fire and REMSA responded to the same scene on reports of a 17-year-old being a shot.
RPD says the shooter has been identified and interviewed, but police are still investigating the circumstances.
No arrests have been made.
