Blues Fest Comes to Reno

Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 13 and 14. Reno's Rancho San Rafael Park hosted some of the biggest names in rhythm and blues including R&B legends Gladys Knight and Etta James, as well as Robert Cray, Bobby Womack, Blind Boys of Alabama, Eddie Cotton, John Mayall, Bobby Rush, Clarence Carter and Sista Monica.
The president of the board of directors of the Reno-Tahoe Blues Fest, Charles McNeeley, says this line up brings together more Grammy award winning blues artists than almost any other venue in the United States.
