Well, I wouldn't shop at any place with a pharmacy then. Where do you think people go to fill their necessary prescriptions after they visit the doctor? They go to the grocery store, hand over the presecription and pick up juice, popsicles and any other items to help them feel better. So, you might not want to leave your house. Germs are everywhere!

I think it's important to provide alternatives for the uninsured so that they dont always need to utilize the Emergency room. I recently had to go to an emergency room and waited almost 4 hours to see a doctor. If the non-urgent patients had alternatives, wait times for more serious injuries would be significanly less. Plus, these sick folks visit the reatil establishments to get prescription drugs and over-the-counter medications anyway. I do hope that these stores install more anti-bacterial handwash in their stores though. Michelle has a good point. But I will continue to shop there.

The only reason this so called health care facility was put in this location is because of the mexican population in that area. If you go in that store it is filled with mexican's and most of them are using food stamps while we stand behind them and have to pay with the money we have worked for. Then follow them out and see what kind of car they are driving.

I understand that more people need access to quality and affordable healthcare, but do we really want people with contagious illnesses being encouraged to go to a place like a grocery store or a Target where lots of people who are not sick are shopping? I understand the desire for convenience, but think of illnesses like the flu--people who are that sick should only be going to a place that is specifically designated as a clinic, doctor's office, urgent care, or hospital--NOT a public gathering place like a retail store. And after that, the only other place they should be is home. Every time someone sick with the flu leaves their house, they are placing certain individuals at serious risk--think of little children, older people and people with compromised immune systems. I for one will not be shopping at retail stores with clinics--especially during cold and flu season!
