The Alpine County Sheriff's department has released the name of the man who died in Tuesday’s plane crash.
He is 39-years-old Jeffrey Zajicek. The Carson City man was the only person on board.
The plane crashed just before noon yesterday in the Woodfords area north of Markleeville, California.
Alpine County Sheriff's deputies say it went down along the West Fork of the Carson River.
