Officials found for last year and this year Nevada led the nation with more than a 31-percent increase in average home prices. California was second, with more than a 25-percent increase.
In metropolitan areas, Bakersfield, California was first. Las Vegas got second in the nation. And, the Reno-Sparks area was third.
