Huckabee is reacting to newspaper reports suggesting McCain had
a relationship with a female lobbyist that worried McCain's staff.
McCain emphatically denies that his relationship with Vicki Iseman
The New York Times quotes anonymous aides as saying they urged
McCain and Iseman to stay away from each other eight years ago,
because Iseman had clients with business before a Senate Committee
on which McCain served.
McCain says the article is "not true." At a news conference in
Ohio with his wife by his side, McCain says at no time has he ever
"done anything to betray the public trust."
Huckabee says he knows McCain "to be a man of integrity" and
will take him "at his word."
