This morning the mother of missing teen Brianna Denison made a national plea for her safe return.

Denison, 19, vanished without a trace nearly a month ago while staying at a friend’s house near the University of Nevada, Reno campus.

The teen’s mother, Bridgette Denison, and her uncle met with KOLO 8's Pat Hambright on Thursday evening; they described their anguish.

Today, the pair took part in satellite media tours with other TV stations and organizations throughout the nation. Both family members of Brianna's not only explained their feelings, but also updated everyone on the progress of the case thus far.

Denison disappeared following a night out in Reno with friends. She attends Santa Barbara City College in Santa Barbara, California, but was in town over winter break to visit family & friends.

Over the past few months, hundreds of volunteers have joined forces with numerous government agencies, such as the F.B.I., to trace the missing teen. Denison's mother praised the volunteers for their support.
