Big news for the Reno Fire Department Thursday morning as city council members unnaimously voted to build new fire stations.
On Wedensday night Reno City council overode a decision made by the city planning commision and voted to build new fire stations at fourth and valley streets and at the Grand Sierra resort.
The move allows for the old stations to be demolished making way for the new Triple-A baseball stadium.
Baseball developers agreed to loan the city 10 million dollars to move the downtown stations to their new loactions.
