RENO, Nev. (AP) - Reno police say weather may have played role
in the single-vehicle rollover in Lemmon Valley that killed a
31-year-old woman and injured her teenage sister.
Police Sgt. John Mandagaran says Bonita Jessica German of Reno
was killed in the crash about 7:30 p.m. Monday on Sky Vista Parkway
north of U.S. Highway 395.
German died at the scene. Her 14-year-old sister was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Mandagaran says heavy rain and hail in the area at the time could have contributed to the cause of the crash. But he says it remains under investigation.
