Drivers trying to use Moana Lane to get home tonight found themselves facing a mess.
High winds earlier in the day may be the reason a power pole fell over just west of Virginia Street near the Moana Pool.
Sierra Pacific crews saw that the pole had sagged at around 3pm and the pull on the line had caused another support pole to seriously lean over.
In order to repair the sag, which was causing the powerline to arc, two lanes of Moana, one in each direction had to be shut down.
Sierra Pacific said they expect crews will be on the scene most of the night shoring up the downed line.
