President Bush Visits Nevada

President Bush is in Nevada this morning. He arrived in Las Vegas last night and will be speaking there later today.

The President is expected to say that the U.S. cannot turn its back on Iraq and will ask Americans to be patient.

He'll also urge Congress to make the "Protect America Act of 2007" permanent.

That law has given the government more freedom to eavesdrop on suspected terrorists.

The president is using the stop to raise money for fellow Republicans. After Nevada, he heads to Colorado and Missouri.
