RENO, NV - Reno police are looking for an SUV and at least two people involved in a shooting early Saturday.

Police say about 3:40 AM, a woman and a male friend were walking northbound on South Center Street, crossing Stewart Street in a crosswalk. A red Ford Explorer came at them quickly, almost hitting them, leading to the pedestrians and people in the SUV shouting at each other. That's when one person got out of the Explorer and fired a gun, with bullet fragments hitting the woman who had been walking. Police say she is expected to recover. The shooter got back into the SUV, which was driven away.

The victim says the shooter is white, around six feet tall and skinny with blond hair, and was wearing dark baggy pants with a dark t-shirt.
