Teen Driving Bill

drivers license

This afternoon, the Nevada Senate voted 20-1 for the proposal, which would prohibit anyone under 16 years old from getting a driver's license.
It also calls for 16- and 17-year-olds to have a permit for at least six months before applying for a license.
Teens would also be prohibited from driving teenaged friends until the driver turns 18.
And they must spend at least 50 hours driving with a parent or guardian before being fully licensed.
