Gas Prices Hit Record High

That's according to Triple-A Nevada, which reports the statewide
average for a gallon of regular unleaded has reached
two-dollars-and-37-cents. That's the same price per gallon on average in Reno, and 22 cents per gallon more than the national average of two-dollars-and-15-cents.
Nevada has the third highest gas prices in the country, behind
Hawaii and California.
A spokesman for Triple-A Nevada says gas prices have gone up by
nearly 50 cents per gallon in less than three months.
The group cited the cost of crude oil for the rising gas prices.
Crude oil costs about 50 percent more than a year ago.
