The Terri Schiavo case has awakened Americans to the importance of living wills and other documents that can protect a person's wishes.
More than two-hundred people gathered at the Washoe County Senior Center to learn about those documents. The Senior Law Project conducts regular seminars for senior citizens, but Wednesday's forum was open to everybody. If you missed it, you can get much of the same information on line--including the forms you'll need to fill out. Under the links tab at the top of the page you can connect with the link called "advance care planning." There you'll find the form you need to fill out such as a living will or durable power of attroney
