Sheriff’s Office Detectives are conducting an investigation into this incident, which is standard procedure for an in-custody injury or death. The 31-year-old man had been booked into the detention center on March 26th, 2005 on one charge of Domestic Battery.
The inmate was discovered hanging from bedding material during a routine cell check. Detention Deputies who discovered the inmate began lifesaving measures immediately, with the assistance of detention medical staff. The name of the individual is being withheld pending notification of family.
