Easter Storytime: This event features bunnies, eggs and candy at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Duncan-Traner Library, 1650 Carville Drive. Cost: Free. Details: 333-5134.

Easter Carnival: The event takes place from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Sparks Recreation Park, 98 Richards Way, Sparks. Includes carnival games, a bounce house and an egg hunt for candy and prizes. The Easter Bunny also pays a visit. Bring a basket. Cost: $1. Details: 353-2376.

Easter Egg Hunt: A special Easter celebration for people with disabilities happens from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Sparks Recreation Gym and Park, 98 Richards Way, Sparks. Includes a visit with the Easter Bunny, egg hunt for candy and prizes along a wheelchair friendly course. Bring a basket. Cost: Free. Details: 353-7898.

Bowl with the Easter Bunny: Reserve in advance for children to bowl two games and eat pizza with the Easter Bunny from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Reno Hilton Bowling Center, 2500 E. Second St. Cost: $8. Details: 788-6926.

Spring Festival: This event features carnival games, face painting, art stations and a bounce house from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Reno Sports Complex Softball Fields, North McCarran Boulevard and North Virginia Street. Children should bring baskets to collect colorful eggs and meet the Easter Bunny. Cost: $1 per person. Details: 334-2262.

Easter Egg Hunt: Sponsored by the Pleasant Valley Volunteer Fire Department. Easter Sunday at Washoe Lake State Park, more than 4000 brightly colored eggs. Bunny arrives 12:45, by Careflight, egg hunt at 1pm
