Congressman and Presidential candidate Duncan Hunter is in Reno today to prove to the people of Nevada that he is a force to be reckoned with.
Hunter appeared on KOLO 8 News Daybreak this morning with Kendra Kostelecky discussing his reasons for running for President and that he certainly is someone to look toward for the position of Commander In Chief.
With his military experience and political background in Washington, Hunter feels that he is someone that the people of Nevada should support.
Hunter is a Vietnam veteran who represents San Diego.
He says since he first was elected to Congress in 1980 as part of President Reagan's sweep into power, he has been a strong advocate for military issues, securing the border from illegal immigration and ensuring American workers aren't harmed by unfair foreign competition.
He says he thinks he has the best experience and credentials to be president.
Hunter will be appearing with General Chuck Yeager (AF-RET) at a town hall meeting this evening at 6pm.
The event will be held at Harrah's Casino in Reno and is open to the public.
