A Reno teenager has pleaded guilty to assault charges related to a deadly confrontation at an off-campus Halloween party.
Nineteen-year-old Saili Manu faces possible probation or up to six years in prison on each count when sentenced later this year.
His lawyer says Manu took a loaded pistol to the Oct. 28 party and pointed it at people after fights broke out, but didn't shoot anyone.
Another young man who crashed the party with Manu faces three counts of murder and four counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Samisone Taukitoku, who crashed the college party with Manu, is charged on three counts of murder with the use of a firearm and four counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities say the shootings erupted after an altercation on a crowded dance floor.
