A Santa Clara County judge has pushed back until at least Friday a decision in a civil case involving the fatal tiger attack at the San Francisco Zoo.
Today's hearing involved a request by the city attorney's office to examine cell phones and car belonging to the Dhaliwal brothers, the two survivors of the attack.
The civil case is separate from a criminal investigation being conducted in the case.
In the criminal case, a police spokesman says investigators have obtained a search warrant to examine the items belonging to the Dhaliwal brothers.
Both police and city officials believe the items could shed some light on the events leading up to the attacks.
