With the close working partnership between the America's Most Wanted television show and the United States Marshals Service has once again yielded dividends.
Robert Falkner, 33, a fugitive recently profiled on the television show, was arrested Tuesday in his room at a Reno hotel.
Falkner has been a regular occupant of a number of Reno hotels and casinos, where he would routinely register using an alias.
Falkner was wanted for a 2007 Assault With a Deadly Weapon on a Police Officer in California.
Falkner was profiled on America's Most wanted television show on Saturday 5th and on the very next day, (Sunday), an anonymous tip to the show indicated Falkner was scheduled to stay at a specific casino in Reno.
U.S. Marshals followed the tip and breached the room arresting Falkner without incident.
Falkner was transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility where he will await extradition to California.
Falkners bail was set at $100,000.
