Property owners are asking the City of Reno to annex about 7-thousand acres near Cold Springs, north of Reno.
Such a deal could be the first step in the construction of 57-hundred homes over the next 25 years.
If approved, the annexation would include land in Cold Springs, as well as the Heinz Ranch...and pave the way for an 11-hundred-acre business park.
The Reno City Council will consider the proposal on January 26th.
