Most hardware places have been sold out of snow shovels since Thursday...when the winter storm first hit.
Lowe's in Sparks is still out of most of the other winter supplies. Managers say they are getting a shipment in on Wednesday. They'll have 22-hundred bags of snow melt, and 29 snow blowers, but hey expect that won't last too long.
The situation isn't much more bleak at other hardware stores in Sparks. Ace Hardware is out of snow shovels and snow melt. Store managers say, every other call or walk in...has been for snow shovels or snow melt. Ace Hardware can't stock its shelves until Wednesday.
Their supplies were supposed to last two weeks "not" two days.
