A man who shot and killed another man after tempers flared over the victim's unwelcome stay at his trailer has been sentenced to two life prison terms without parole.
Washoe District Judge Steven Kosach imposed the sentence Tuesday
on Glenn Turner, 48.
Turner had pleaded guilty to first-degree murder with use of a firearm in the January shooting death of Joseph McMillen, 39, of Sun Valley.
Investigators said after the killing, Turner dumped McMillen's body off a California highway in Nevada County.
The body was found in April.
Turner was arrested in September after a man who witnessed the shooting came forward.
The witness said McMillen had been freeloading at their friend's trailer and was no longer welcome.
The witness said McMillen was shot when he began to "trash talk" Turner.
Prosecutors said both men were heavily involved in drugs.
